It’s Fall!  Pumpkin Time.  Come make this cute set of pumpkins and paint a mason jar to celebrate the season!

We will use American Paint Company all natural clay, chalk, and mineral based paints and other products.  We provide coffee or tea for anyone who needs some extra energy.  If you want to BYOB your own beverage feel free – we are here to have a great creative time.

In this class, you will get hands on experience with all the products from American Paint Company as well as learn different application techniques.  You will practice using the all natural clay, chalk and mineral based paints as well as the clear wax, dark wax, top coat, and glaze. Valuable tips and tricks will be shared as you try your hands at two layer painting, wet distressing, and “finishing” your projects.   The price includes 2 hours of individualized attention, paint, supplies, and a fun learning experience in our classroom.  You don’t need to bring anything but yourself as we will provide everything you will need.   We can’t wait to see you and show you all the fun ways you can recycle, repurpose and renew your furniture…imagine the possibilities!!

Introducing our first “Open Classroom”!   So you want to paint a piece of furniture that you own (or in the store) but are a little uncertain how to use our American Paint Co. chalk/clay/mineral paint and other  products?  Or you just want to get a some hands on experience without having to commit to a scheduled class time?  Do you have something you’d like to paint but want assistance while you work?   This is your day!  We are opening up our classroom all day so you can come when you like and work on what you want.

How does it work?

Spend as little or as much time as you want.  The charge is $25/hour and includes all materials.  We will have sample and test boards ready for you to experiment on.  Or bring a small piece and work on it in the classroom using our supplies.

The fine print:  There will be minimum one hour charge.  Partial hours will be rounded up.  Space is first come first serve.   If you are bringing an item to paint, please send a picture to [email protected] for approval and to secure a spot.

In this class you bring a small piece of furniture (small table, chair, a drawer of larger piece, etc…) and paint the piece.  We will do one to two layered colors and wax or satin finish as time allows.  The price includes 3-4 hours of individualized attention and guidance, paint, supplies, and a whole lot of fun. We provide coffee or tea for anyone who needs some extra energy.  We will use American Paint Company all natural clay, chalk, and mineral based paints; and, their all natural, No VOC waxes and top coat.  We can’t wait to see you and show you all the fun ways you can recycle, repurpose and renew your furniture…imagine the possibilities!!

Detailed instructions will be sent prior to class, we will have to approve the item prior to class. We ask that you choose your colors prior to class as well so that we can start on time and get the most out of our time together.
